Deodorants and antiperspirant products have long been recommended as a first line remedy to stop armpit sweat.

Products that contain Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate (Clorohydrate) with Ethyl Alcoholare among the most widely used topical agents, and maybe adequate for some patients with excessive armpit sweating, also known as axillary hyperhidrosis. However, in the case of plantar and palmar hyperhidrosis, they may not be as effective or even practical.
